From Thanksgiving through December 9th, Realty ONE Group Esteem and Fountain Mortgage came together in a parallel holiday giving effort to support Toys for Tots and A Turning Point in Gladstone. This team-wide initiative focused on two of the most urgent needs families face during the holidays: providing gifts for children and ensuring access to food. 
More than half of our 60+ agents participated by donating toys, food, or time. All items were collected at our office, then delivered directly to the organizations by our agents. It was a true team effort—driven by one shared belief: supporting our community is simply what you do.
Why Toys for Tots Matters
The holidays can be joyful, but they can also be stressful for families facing financial hardship. Toys for Tots exists to ensure children experience the joy, dignity, and hope that every child deserves—regardless of circumstance.
Through local toy drives, Toys for Tots supports families across the Kansas City metro by providing new toys to children who might otherwise go without during the holiday season. The impact goes beyond gifts. It helps relieve stress for parents, strengthens families, and creates moments of normalcy and happiness when they matter most.
Community partnerships are essential to this mission, and every donated toy represents a reminder that someone cares.
A Turning Point: Meeting Needs Year-Round
While the holidays bring a heightened awareness of need, food insecurity doesn’t end when the season does. A Turning Point, located in Gladstone, plays a critical role in supporting families year-round through access to food and essential resources.
This year, our focus was supporting A Turning Point’s food pantry, donating shelf-stable items to help ensure families have reliable access to meals. We’ve volunteered with A Turning Point in the past, and we continue to see firsthand the impact their work has across the Northland.
